Pallet Art Space
Prishtine, Kosovo
Shipping Pallet Art Space was a collaborative installation built during the 2012 AUK Summer Camp. Upcycled pallets were transformed into an experiential pathway leading into the campus cafeteria, where students displayed their own artwork. Invited to teach American art and culture, James Stodgel wove a design-build project into the program, engaging sixty boys and girls from across Kosovo. Together, they painted, assembled, and activated the structure—learning not only about art and architecture, but also about reuse, recycling, and living lightly on the earth.
